Model Resolution In Opposition to the Biden Administration’s Title IX Rule

The Biden Administration released its Final Title IX Regulations on Friday, April 19. This 1,577 page rule supplants the definition of sex with “gender identity.” If it takes effect on August 1, 2024, the rule would threaten the safety of women and girls, end sex-separated athletics, compel student speech, and erase key due process protections for students accused of misconduct.

PDE Action proposes the following resolution for school boards, state legislatures, Congress, and other deliberative bodies that wish to respond to the Biden Administration’s push to demolish vital protections for the safety and security of women and girls.
